play Portmarnock Links, designed by Bernhard Langer, perhaps the best
maintained links in Ireland, with natural looking links holes.
Day 2 – Golf today at
Portmarnock Golf Club, This course is considered by many to be one of the
top five courses in Ireland. (Redbank Lodge - B)
Day 3
– Travel to the Island GC today, surrounded on three sides by the sea; another
true links course. (Redbank Lodge - B)
Day 4
– Travel to the South towards Dublin today to Play Royal Dublin today. Rarely do
you find a course of this exceptional quality so near to a major city center.

Day 1 – Arrive Shannon
to a warm Irish greeting–
Welcome tour briefing- Transfer to Dromoland Castle Hotel. Play Golf at
Dromoland Golf Club this afternoon. (Dromoland)
Day 2 – Transfer up to Lahinch
today to play Lahinch GC, dating back to 1892 and later redesigned by Dr.
Alistair Mackenzie, Lahinch features a couple of blind holes, and true classic
links flavor. (Dromoland – B)
Day 3
– Travel West again today to Doonbeg GC, the
much-anticipated links on some of Ireland’s most attractive dunes, with a highly
acclaimed design by Greg Norman. The course is considered to contain some
of the best linksland in the world. After golf transfer to The Killarney Park
Hotel. (Killarney Park- B)
Day 4 –
Move south to Ballybunion GC today, play Ballybunion Old
Course, This course is one of Ireland’s greats, a natural course of the
highest class, with perhaps the finest natural dunes ever for a championship
links. Ranked 12th in the world. (Killarney Park- B)
Day 5
– Travel the Ring of Kerry Today to play Waterville Golf Links. This is an
outstanding links, overlooking Ballinskegs Bay and was proclaimed “the most
heavenly hell on earth”. (Killarney Park –B)
Day 6
– Take the day off golf today and take the leisurely trip across Ireland’s south
to Kilkenny. Stop off at Blarney Castle or Waterford Crystal on the way. Arrive
at Mount Juliet Estate. (Mount Juliet- B)
Day 7
– Play golf on site today at Mount Juliet a Jack Nicklaus course which has
quickly become known as the “Augusta” of Ireland. Home to the Irish Open
in 1993, 1994 and 1995, and more recently the World Series of Golf. (Mount

Day 8
– Transfer through the garden of Ireland today to play Druids Glen, quite
spectacular and extremely well kept, this “Irish Open”course is highly regarded
on the Euro PGA Tour. A beautiful walk (or carts!), especially the 12th,
13th, and 14th. Transfer into Dublin to the Merrion Hotel
in the heart of town. (Merrion – B)
Day 9
– Transfer to the Dublin coast today to play Portmarnock GC, having hosted the
Irish Open many times (again in ’03 and ’04) and the Walker Cup, it is said to
have the finest five finishing holes in golf. Golf Magazine #38 in the world

– Travel North to Tralee today, designed by Arnold Palmer, and situated on a
beautiful corner of Kerry’s southwest coast, some of the greatest views in the

Day 5
– Play Waterville Golf Links today, This is an outstanding links, overlooking
Ballinskegs Bay, was proclaimed “the most heavenly hell on earth” After golf

– Travel to Fota Island Golf Club today, this former home of the Irish Open is
located in the heart of 780 acres of landscape. Here, you hone your game and

Day 7
– Today travel as far south as possible to Old Head Golf Links. It is a new
links built on the cliffs with 14 ocean holes. In 1999 Links Magazine called it
